With a schedule of USC, Western Ky, Kent St, and KY, refs are not going to call penalties to slow the game down. What a joke of a stat.

This has always puzzled me when a team has a dominant D but yet no holds are called

Another fun fact: Ritter was the referee the last time LSU beat Alabama.

He also "missed" an easy call in the 2014 LSU-Alabama game.. on the trick play pass to the linemen in OT. Guardian angel Ritter to the rescue.

What Ritter called:
1st and 10; 25 yard line
Pass complete to 1 yard line, 1st down
After play personal foul on ALA
1st and goal from the 15 yard line

Correct call:
1st and 10; 25 yard line
Pass complete to 1 yard line, 1st down
(Live Ball Foul: ALA did not get set)
After the play: dead ball foul ALA
LSU accepts live ball foul, 5 yard penalty replay 1st down.
Dead ball foul assessed 15 yard penalty.
1st and 30 from 45

Ritter gonna Ritter
Melt day ~690

Ironically with Alabama fans pointing out that LSU didnt get set at the end of the game against Auburn.. I think most of you kind of have to agree with me
