This will mean that both FSU and LSU will have downgraded their coaches.

If Florida st. is willing to give him a raise, wouldn't they have done it last year after the rumors?

Jimbo was in the middle of a divorce last year. Not sure he wanted a raise at that time. Jmo

He just lost to Louisville by 50. LSU shouldn't want him anymore.

Why not? What is the problem with the LSU program right now? Would you say QB play? I sure would. Look at the QB's he has turned into first round draft picks at FSU. (Ponder, Manuel, Winston) Not to mention he also got Russell drafted #1 overall while at LSU.
But you are right Jimbo is a terrible coach.

I didn't say Jimbo was a terrible coach.
I'm just skeptical of how he'd do if he were in the SEC West Division without a world class QB.
Even in the ACC he's been a 10-3 type coach without Jameis.
