Depends on how bad of a botch. Miss on Herman and settle for Fedora and it won't be too bad. Miss on everybody and promote Orgeron then it will be nuclear.

LSU fans are in for a serious reality check. They are not the desirable program they think they are and once they're down to about their 5th choice for HC it's going to be glorious.

It's not an "if". No coach will live up to the expectations LSU fans seem to have. You'd think Les Miles was intentionally losing those games by the way some LSU fans talk around here.

Let's talk about reality:
If they don't get Herman, Fisher, (Saban, Sumlin, or Satan), or Mullen, Freeze, or Cutcliffe then odds are they've botched this hire.
Unless they get SKRONG of coorse.
So, yep, the odds ARE that they are going to get something wrong. (I mean, let's admit it: it's eitehr SKRONG or WRONG) and they're going to suffer insurmountably for the next three (3) years.
So what?

If LSU doesn't change admins who hire coaches, they most certainly will botch this. They've handled it poorly for 2 years now. Just awful.
