Agreed, which is why you don't bench the kid after his first, appreciable mistake. The decision to throw was jacked up. The deflected INT was luck for the defender.

I don't question his arm strength or overall potential. Experts know this better than I do. I think its just timing, reps, experience, jitters, etc. I suspect (and hope) that over the next couple of games, we will see more of the playbook, better reads, better throws, and more confidence. Once this kid feels comfortable, he should be lights out.
