LSU a 16 point favorite
Lol. Only A 16 point favorite over a team that can't beat South Alabama.

Didn't MSU lose to S. Alabama??? that may be 1 reason. Another is LSU has a capable QB now and LF7 just had a week off. He finna eat....

Why on earth would anyone ever bet on a game if their bet can be unilaterally changed by the bookie
Nope, when you make a wager your point spread is locked in at what you bet. What the line does after your wager does not affect you.
BTW, that is sounding more and more like a sucker bet. I wouldn't want any part of that one

No way have they watched LSU this year? If we win it's by no more than a touchdown.

You ought to worry more about Ole Miss than giving your opinion about the Lsu / Msu game.

Cause of the vig
The vig only applies to the bets that lose. If most of the bets on both sides win, the vig won't save them.

And, even worse, no way in hell would we cover that line.
Also, that team that can't beat South Alabama also beat South Carolina pretty soundly.

That's what I would hope and assume. If so, how does moving the line help the bookies?
LSU opens at -9, most of the money goes on LSU.
Line moves to 16, then most of the money goes on MSU.
Now, there's equal money on both teams, but most of the money on LSU is at -9 and most of the money on MSU is at +16. What happens if LSU wins by 13? Most of the bets on both sides are winners and the bookies lose money. If that's the case, how does moving the line to even the money guarantee the bookies to come out ahead?

Wow does MSU have some injuries or something we don't know about?

Bookies keep 10% no matter which way you bet. They are going to keep the "juice" no matter what and that is why they want balanced money on both sides. $1 on both teams and they are happy.

Vegas found out Coach Dan dropped a bundle on LSU when it was 12pt so it jump to 16pt.
Dan's a dumbass he should have waited.

Even Vegas has Etling as being 19-21 points better than Harris
