Seems like everything is in a rebuilding phase here at Mizzou.

Haha, I was about to say that. And some of those rebuilding years are better than others, such as winning the Big 12 north or SEC East

I don't disagree.

I just hope it's a quick one.

If you think he's crazy, ask yourself, does an entire dismantle of the coaching staff equal reloading?

No. It's a rebuild.

'13 wasn't a rebuild. '12 was an injury prone mess.

We're starting over, it happens.

GP was a half decade rebuild.

I think we build on what he left quicker. IF we get back into Texas and seal the borders, including ESL for recruiting. Forget focusing on FL, GA, etc. work those areas, but focus on the bread and butter.

If you look at the 11 guys that started on offense, all 11 come back next year.
Though Ross, Culkin, & Black all played big roles. So if the offense continues to develop throughout this year, then it could be really good next year.

So 8 of the starting 11 on offense return next year?

Well all 11 that started against WVU come back.
Thing is both Ross and Culkin played more than anyone else at his position.
Black didn't play in the 1st or 3rd quarters.

It is a rebuild... and there is nothing wrong with that. Unless you are Alabama or one of the other perpetual blue bloods then you will have years where you have to hunker down and build the team back up again.

You shouldn't recruit Texas... because... well... Arkansas goes after the same players you go after. But a year putting the pieces back together isn't the worst thing in the world.

So your appearances in the SEC championship dips below .500. Well that describes the rest of the conference. You are in good company. Rebuild and who knows? You might make some teams really miserable this year.

Oh, we'll recruit Texas pal.

We'll recruit it and you'll like it.

Stuff and nonsense. You want to recruit... Vermont. A vast reservoir of untapped talent.

Double win for you guys.

Will they insist on wearing kilts? Mind you, I have one myself, but it would look odd on the football field.

He means we didn't capitalize on 13-14.

That's what he means.

And he's right.

Here's the thing none of you seem to get.

When is the last time a team was b2b SEC East Champs and didn't recruit top 20?

Yep, that's how bad it is. Say what you want about stars, diamonds in the rough, etc.

Mizzou was back to back SEC East, not Big 12 North mind you, but fricking SEC EAST CHAMPS.

Still couldn't recruit for shite.

The sooner you realize this, the better.

If you understand anything about wavelengths, and the properties of a 360 degree cycle. You'll understand that we are on the trough, we trend up from here.

How high we trend is the question.

ETA: We'd better be at the trough. If not, the program capitulates. Capitulation=kU
