Was re-watching the Oregon vs Auburn highlights and noticed right around 1:40, he says "we walk in" referring to Oregon.
Great game btw Auburn. Really looking forward to 2019.

Just one e reason to love him.
I hated Ray Perkins but there was one thing I loved. He absolutely LOATHED auburn and all the billshite they claim they stand for....and Perkins wasn't afraid to say it.
"I'll never take a team to that place (auburn) to play and if people don't like it they can go straight to hell"
Priceless. Wish he'd been there for no other reason in 89 than to forfeit that game and make auburn do a 1 for 3 as a compromise.

I wish Perkins hadn't turned tail and run after '86 too. He was a shitty coach and an absolutely miserable human being besides.
