I expected more from UT. I believed all the hype.

I just hope Georgia is at least a good team. They won't have to be great to beat those 3. USC and Vanderbilt have terrible offenses with no big play-makers. South Carolina can't tackle. Mason's offense is way too conservative.

Hey, and I bet the volunteers lost their swagger last night. A similar scenario took down the dawgs in the middle of the 2006 season. They were expected to romp over Colorado and barely won 14-13. They went into a funk for at least 5 straight games after that.

Tennessee's confidence will be shaky going into Bristol Motors Speedway next week.

What did you expect? The east is really, really bad.

Butch Jones is garbage and his players know that. They will continue to underperform.

UT has to get serious about finding a real HC. So does Auburn.

I mean, I think Vandy and South Carolina are about what we thought they would be coming into this season. Everybody knows Vandy has a solid defense but the offense leaves a lot to be desired (including Mason's game management in that area). South Carolina has a new HC and Orth at QB. I think in most rational pre-season predictions, they were at the bottom end of the East to begin with.

Tennessee just went full on Tennessee post-Fulmer. But they're not anymore down than they've been the last few years. Dooley was pretty bad.

It really is. And it has been for a while now. I feel like the members can't see the forest for the trees.

I mean South Carolina and Missouri have combined to win 3 of the last 6 division crowns, let that sink in.

Looks like it's up to the West to salvage the SEC's rep.

They probably could if they weren't still too busy blaming their woes and downfall on Lane Kiffin.

I agree 100%. I never thought I would end up watching the UT/App st. game over Vandy/USC but that USC game was unwatchable. Both teams are pathetic and do not even physically look like SEC teams. Still not sure how USC won but I guess Vandy is still Vandy.
