Ultimately, I'm glad they won, because it would have been a black eye for the SEC otherwise. BUT... I'm also glad that App State pushed them to the limit.

A game like that and to still come away with the win is good character building for the team without the negative consequences of a loss.

I know all about starting a season slow, and there's a W in the column. I'm happy they won because it was an OOC game.
I'm more interested to see if they get better, or fall flat.
