I didn't see the game or the hit but if the defensive player caused the fumble and that hit advanced the ball into the endzone or a defensive player advanced it into the endzone then the O can recover the fumble for a TD.
Like I said, I'm not sure if that was the case here.

It fell from the QBs hands into the end zone. It was after the point where there was 2 minutes left in the 4th QTR. Th QB did not recover it, so it should have been dead ball at point of the fumble.
