Looking back...winning 8 games last season was pretty damn good

Thinking about it now, anyway.
Before the season, we lost RB Jonathan Williams to an injury. Within the first four weeks we lost WR Keon Hatcher, WR Jared Cornelius, WR Cody Hollister, LB Josh Williams, and Kody Walker was out some time last season as well. Then, Rawleigh Williams broke his neck in the Auburn game.
I could be missing some...but looking back and having so many key injuries...how the hell did we manage to win 8 games last season?

It certainly was after the first four game start. One thing I have always said is that these kids love to play for bert and believe in him. The last two years their were points in which it would have been easy to give up after bad starts. I think that actually says a lot about him as a coach and the types of players he recruits.

I'm still salty about losing to Tech and MSU. Tech imposed their will on our home field and that should never happen. MSU was another loss due to piss poor defense and a coaching blunder in the final seconds.

What's crazier is that we should have won 10 games (bowl included) last year. Same goes for 2014 as well.
Even if you throw out the Ole Miss game where karma finally decided it was it our turn, we should've beaten at least 2 of the three of Toledo, A&M and Mississippi State.
If this team finds a way to score in the red zone, hold leads and come out of the gate faster in September, watch out.
