Something different like what?
Sage brush, dirt, and the stench of cow shite are the three most common things I've encountered in Texas.
Just bustin' you guys's balls a bit. I'm sure that there is a place or two in Texas that is pretty nice, but you probably gotta drive 8 or 9 hours through a bunch of bullshite to get to them.

Some Aggies offered me homegrown peppers from their garden at the tailgate. They assumed I couldn't handle it. Joke was on them ate a couple habanero to help out my drinking pace, went into game lit.

Have you even been to Texas before?
Sagebrush? Really?
Good lord you must be really backward, or just stupid.

Are you trying to say there isn't any sage brush in Texas?

We went to College Station last year for the AU game. Had a blast. You're missing out on a great place.
That being said I wouldn't go to Columbia Missouri if hell froze over.

Not in the eastern 2/3 of the state. West Texas, yes. But not within 500 miles of College Station.
College Station is closer to the NE corner of Arkansas and the State of Alabama than it is to the nearest blowing tumbleweed.
You obviously failed geography.

This is such a stupid post.
I already stated in this thread that I have never been to College Station. I have no intention of ever going there, to be honest.
I was just relaying my experiences I HAVE had in Texas with someone who seemed curious about that state. I'm sorry you don't like my assessment, but it isn't anything to get bent out of shape over. Different strokes for different folks, ya know.

Then don't make an assessment if you've never been there or have no intention of going.
Thank you for admitting that you don't know what the frick you are talking about.

Why don't you go brush your tooth and go to bed? It's way past your bedtime.

Why do we need a plane when a car can suffice?
We are 1.25 hours away from Atlanta, 4 hours away from Panama City, 6 hours away from Tallahassee (Florida State), 7.25 hours away from Gainsville, 3 hours away from Tuscaloosa, 6 hours away from Tennessee (Knoxville), 5 hours away from Ole Miss, 3 hours from Athens and 6 hours away from Clemson.
But we all of a sudden need to book a flight to "exotic" College Station?
