If you're gonna be a great team, you need more than a QB who doesn't lose games. You need a QB who will win games for you. One who will be ready to match an opposing team in a shootout, or one who is ready to step up when the opponent stuffs the box to take away your run game. Before anyone says anything about Alabama not needing a great QB, Jake Coker went 25/30 for about 300 yards against Michigan State when they took Henry out of the game.

The only thing that makes me nervous with Eason is readiness.
He looks the part at practice granted. He is the future, clearly.
But this ain't Stafford and Murray who played HS ball in Texas and Florida. He played in Washington state. Is he ready for this , who the heck knows? Maybe he is , I hope he is!
