SEC Football Rivalries:

Auburn played Georgia for the first time in 1892.

Kentucky first played Tennessee in 1893.

Bama first played Auburn in 1893.

LSU played Bama for the first time in 1895.

Miss State started playing both Bama & LSU in 1896.

Ole Miss played Miss State for the first time in 1901.

In the same year
Tennessee and Bama played for the first time in 1901.

Florida played Georgia for the first time in 1915.

One year later, in 1916 Florida played Tennessee for the first time.

A&M and LSU first played in 1899.

A&M and Arkansas first played in 1903.

Mizzou joined the SEC in 2012.
You have no rival. But you sure do try hard- WAY TOO HARD.

I'm sure I'm missing a few so feel free to add to the list.

A&M first played LSU in 1899, and we have met over 50 times since.

Mizzou will always stick out, mainly due to having zero prior history with SEC teams before joining.

Arkansas is the "newcomer" with the most history with the SEC prior to joining. Arkansas and LSU have played twice as many times as LSU and UGA have, for example.

LSU has played:

Arkansas 60 times.
Kentucky - 57
Auburn - 48
Tenn - 32
Vandy - 30
UGA - 30

Ole Miss has played:

Arkansas 62 times.
Alabama - 59
UGA - 45
Kentucky - 42
Auburn - 40
Florida - 24

We met Miss. State one year later, in 1896, and have played them 109 times. We've only played Bama 80 times.

Mizzou and Arkansas are rivals.

First game was in 1906. We have played 6 more times since that first meeting. It's so heated that Shelter Insurance wanted a piece of that hot rivalry action.

Folks, RhodeDawg is the same yankee mouth breather who just a couple of hours ago claimed Missouri is southern, fought for the south, and should act like our southern brethren.

Vandy played Tennessee for the first time in 1892 (twice) and Ole Miss for the first time in 1894.

Interestingly, they also played Georgia (1893), Auburn (1893) and Kentucky (1896) in some of the first games for those programs.

Arkansas and LSU first played in 1901 and have had 60 games at several stadiums. I'd say it's a pretty legit SEC rivalry, even if the SEC part is only since 1992.
