Heard Lance Taylor from JOX FM in Birmingham today on national radio, and he said A&M is his sleeper in the west

Said if they get great QB play he could see the LSU game determining who represents the west

I actually agree with him. Think too many people are chalking up A&M as an easy win.

They have a very experienced and good QB

Arguably the best WRs and DL in SEC.

O line is stacked too.

Just saying, I could easily see 9-3 or 10-2 for them. I think they beat auburn and they get Tennessee the week before Tennessee plays Bama.

I'm definitely not. Think they have a really good shot to finish in the top 3 of the division which would be impressive.

Ssssssassshhhhhhhhhh. AGGIES always have a bad season when we start higbly ranked. Doing just fine hiding in the back for the pack right now.

Mostly worried about the o line. As long as the QB can manage the talent around him I think we are potent enough. If we look for him to carry everything then we will be lost.

The front four on D is nice. LBs are better than we've had since 2012. DBs have some proving to do but the potential is there.

We will beat someone we aren't supposed to but I wonder if we have the focus to beat who we should every time.

Because we've watched them play the past two seasons and they don't look good.

I've seen quite a few pundits picking them in the top 3, I don't think that's necessary being slept on.

I'll give you experienced but good is pushing it.

2nd best WRs and until the DL can prove they can stop the run then I'd say they're not top 4.

Aggy struggles to get 7 wins.

In fairness to me, Sumlin was passed out and his belly made for a nice, soft pillow.

A&M has the pieces to be a very good team. Time will tell how much production Sumlin gets out of his new QB, but if he plays like some of Sumlin's previous QBs, they may be a nightmare this season.

No, not really no.

They also have no QB.

Their defense will win them 8 games.

We have the talent to win every game on the schedule. Interested to see how the season plays out.

I'm not sleeping on them. We've had trouble with that last game of the year for a really long time. Before last year, it was always Arky and we have historically checked out on that last game, more times than not. Now that it's Aggie, it could potentially get ugly down the road.

The Tigers will have their work cut out for them this season.

Maybe because their QB threw 40 passes last year and only had 22 completions with a 1:2 TD to interception ratio.

Agree with Lance, I could see anybody but MSU, sorry MSU just don't think Y'all could get done, winning the
SEC this year Scary Tough this year in the West.

Defense if fairly soft, head coach seems like he has no clue what he is doing at times, and Trevor Knight hasn't done a thing as A&M's starting quarterback yet, so I'm not sold on the Aggies.

They have potential, but until they improve on both sides of the ball, I'm going to be hesitant to believe that they are a true force in the west.

-Auburn has been picked as a sleeper
-A&M has been picked as a sleeper
-LSU has been picked as a favorite
-Alabama is Alabama
-Ole miss is a legit contender
-Arkansas can beat anyone when they decide to

^ welcome to the Wild Wild West...
No Kentuckys, South Carolinas, Missouris, or Vanderbilts to rule out here.

Could A&M make noise? Yes
But what do you expect people to project A&M to be? Look at that list

Sorry MSU, you are still better than most of the east though
