Smith having contact with another team prior to saban granting the release doesn't really mean there was any exploitation. I mean, how logically idiotic would it be to ask for a release without even reaching out to gauage interest first?

There was a previous release to make contact with other schools back in June.

I know we all like to laugh at how much richt owned auburn, but if you look at the raw numbers, richt did relatively well against just about every sec team aside from florida.

UT- 10-5
AU- 10-5
SC- 9-6
arkansas- 6-1
OM- 6-0
LSU- 4-4
Bama- 3-3

Yeah, I am sure that Kirby didn't promise Mo instant playing time, or tell Mo to suddenly have a passionate interest in public health so that he can transfer. I am sure that Mo came up with all of that on his own.

So you have a problem with Kirby talking to and recruiting him after the contact release a few months ago?

Kirby Smart has to try to make that happen

It's his job to recruit him and help him while he is signed with another team and not released from his scholarship?

He was able to contact SEC schools?

well that's quite an unfounded guess if I've ever heard one. You have literally no idea what conversations the 2 of them had.

You again have zero clue what they've talked about.

Or maybe he realized he was getting passed up at bama by 5* after 5* and realized he could go play with his former defensive coach at a less talented team? Nah, no way that could be it..

Smith was released to contact other schools well before his scholarship release

Kirby first contacted Mo after Saban granted him his release?

I would think mo first contacted his former coaches.

Maurice Smith was initially released in June. He wasn't free to attend Georgia, but my understanding was free to talk to Smart.

What proof do you have that kirby was the one that initiated the contact?

Yes, there are two different "releases" here, contact and sitting out a year transfer waiver

somewhat correct. He could attend UGA, just would need to sit out the year and pay his own way without the waiver.

06,08,09,11,13,15 were average at best Uga teams to beat auburn. 07 and 12 were the only very good ones. Good luck beating Uga if we improve as a program.

Probably seems like more because of the skulldragging nature of most of them.

If I am taking money from Company "A" and voluntarily leave to go to Company "B", there is no way I am going back to try poach the accounts I sold while taking "A"s money to "B"...Im not even going to talk to them if they call because it just doesn't look good and morally it is the right thing to do

But is companies a's account says they no longer want to buy from company a, it doesnt matter what the "moral" thing to do is. They no longer want to do business with A
