Probably gonna be a recurring theme:
Painkillers for a lower back injury, didn't poop for 4 days, wanted to poop, tried to poop, couldn't poop
Finally, on day 5, it happened, took 20 minutes of the most excruciating pain, I actually shed a tear, BUT A MANLY TEAR GODDAMNIT. I exited the restroom covered in sweat, went to the woods and punched a bear in the face.

Real talk, I vividly remember the first time I had to try to go after my scope for endometriosis. It had attached to my bowel, which in return had attached to my abdominal wall.
Easily the second most painful bathroom experience between trying to use the bathroom while taking pain meds, the abdominal wall still healing, as well as where they burned the endo off of my bowel.
This is probably the real reason I haven't had kids yet.

Me, too. Painkillers for knee surgery. Also took 5 days to poop. I don't know if I was crying from the pain or the relief. I had no idea painkillers can shut down your digestive system like that.
