How can ole miss come close if they never make it to Atlanta?
They were SEC West co-champs back in the day. That's basically an SEC championship right there.

The team that beat you 38-10? Florida made your offense look worse than ours

A&M or Arkansas will eventually throw together a good team that catches a break or two and win it.

Do you think y'all will be searching for a new coach any time soon or will sumlin right the ship? Honest question
Honest answer, I'm cautiously optimistic about this next season. Our defense may exist for the first time since 2012, and could end up being pretty damn good. Our offense has playmakers but is relying on Trevor Knight, so who knows there, but I really do think we will have better OL and QB play with changes made in the off-season.
I think Sumlin does JUST enough to keep his job and we go something like 9-3, further cementing our mediocrity for the years to come.

It'll be us and it'll be done by Will Muschamp and it's going to be glorious and it'll be in 2018

I think Aggy is a dark horse. There's certainly enough talent.

After spending half $billion on football the last 4 years, there are going to be some angry Aggie oilmen if they don't win the SEC in the next few years.

Ole Miss, Arkansas, A&M

If I learned anything in my time at Texas A&M, it's that saying they spent that half billion is enough for most of them.

Only if you believe that winning a weak division and then playing a team that will beat you ten out of ten times is close. If you have been one play away from the western division title at any point the last 15 years then you have been closer to winning the SEC than Mizzou.

So sumlin stays for the long haul?

I think he stays at least through 2017.
I'm 23 so thinking more than 2 years into the future gets me all fricked up.

4th and 25 is not close. That is a long, long way to go
Posted on 7/28/16 at 3:44 pm to MizzouTrue
Not close enough at any rate. But still closer than you.

The program that went 5-1 in the West last year and beat the National Champions on the road.
