So they were good two years, with a heisman winner at QB, and bad one year without him. All under Urban......So it isn't only the scheme, but the talent. Got it.
The focus of the comparison is the RB talent, and these are the same exact guys all 4 seasons. Why did their production change so drastically as upperclassmen? No Tebow meant less room for them to run.

Tim Tebow was going to make anyone look good. Just like Cam. Hell, Johnny Manziel had RBs average the same as Auburns with Cam and if you try and tell me their scheme inflates YPC for running backs I'm going to call you a fricking moron. There's a reason Nick Marshall never had his #1 RB average more than 6 YPC. It's because it's not the scheme, it was the players, which is my entire point and all you've done is reiterate that for me with your stats. You're also comparing 180 pound scat backs needing space to Bo Jackson needing space. Weren't you the one talking about apples to oranges earlier ITT?
Here's the long and short of it:
You love using YPC for Chubb because it let's you be a homer when comparing him to Fournette. However, when comparing Bo and Herschel, YPC isn't a good stat to use because it doesn't work out in Herschel's favor.
A.K.A Cherry picked stats. Good night.

What a stupid argument. Chubb isn't in Fournette's league. Chubb is damaged goods. I don't wish injury on anyone, but Chubb's knees don't hold up. Gotta tote the rock in every game to be good. Great backs don't miss games. Great players don't miss games. Chubb isn't either.

are you full blown retarded, or just the mild kinda case?

Dude got hurt. Missed a ton of games. Fournette has never missed a game. Simple fact. Injuries suck. Could be the result of poor conditioning, too many carries, or just bad luck.

Why don't you go watch Chubbs injury again and tell me with a straight face it was due to too many carries or poor conditionig. Idiot.

Chubb is a beast. Georgia has hit the lottery recruiting running backs.

All I know is Chubb missed games. I don't wish injury on anyone, but the kid got hurt. He's not reliable. To be honest I didn't realize Uga still played football. 2 sec titles in 35 years ain't that good. That's only 2 more than vandy.

Fournette says Chubb is the best
But he's wrong
But he's wrong

It's kinda sad how insecure Georgia fans are with Chubb. Always trying to build him up against LF
How do you measure two RBs on different teams that play different styles and different schedules.
Why not just hope he can win y'all some games in impressive fashion like LF does for LSU

Chubb is a GREAT back and definitely a top back in the nation. But I don't think that anyone could objectively say they would rather have Chubb over Fournette. LF is just to good physically and is a freak. One may could argue that Chubb does just as much with less flash and freakish skills but he definitely isn't better.

oh please. After the '14 season when chubb had better numbers in just about every conceivable metric you could possibly want to compare, all LSU fans did was try to tell us how LF was better despite not having the numbers. Oh well our QB was too bad. Oh but we play in the west. Oh but LF will be a better pro. He has more "potential". Now that LF has taken the lead and is now the better back, apparently UGA fans are insecure. that's rich.

All those impressive runs have gotten yall a 17-8 record including a loss in the music city bowl. Man I wish we were more like lsu..

It's real simple, and blows me away that people can't open their eyes and see this for what it is:
-In 2014, NC was unquestionably better. Better stats across the board in just about every way, FAR dominated the 5 common opponents, and didn't even start til about game 5.
-In 2015, even BEFORE chubb's injury, LF was far and away better. And that's not to say chubb was doing poorly, he was his typically chubb self. That just shows how much of a higher level LF was on in 15. He was dominant.
That's about the long and short of it. I honestly don't know how there could be disagreeance on that.

Chubb may be as good or better than Fournette. He's really good. You saw Fournette's numbers drop off starkly at the end of the season from 8+ ypc and 200+ ypg to 6+ and 160+ respectively. The law of great backs is that as total carries go up, ypc goes down.
It's really difficult to compare RBs because each play presents something different. They see multiple things and have multiple opportunities on each individual play. Even with common opponents, literally everything is different. You really have to look at entire careers and try to adjust for sample size, oline talent, schemes, opposing Ds etc, but even then, it's very subjective.
I haven't seen Chubb play a whole lot, but honestly, both could be top 5 all-time SEC good. I expect Fournette to finish #2 on the all-time SEC list and be within 100-200 yards of Herschel.

Ah, this might be an issue for you Georgia homers.
Then again, this is a troll thread, so carry on.

Make whatever excuses you want. Facts are facts, Jack.
You're right, maybe you should start making a lot of bets based on this information. Maybe find your local lsu fan and hash out a bet picking chubb over fournette. You're stealing money at this rate.

just for the record, Herschel has 3 years worth of bowl game yardage that doesn't count towards his official statistics.

Damien Harris, Bo Scarborough = Only RBs that will atleast play for a SEC Championship before they get drafted

We're insecure? You LSU fanboys had 20 page threads once a week in the offseason trying to convince yourself LF was better last summer.
