Could be 6-6, could be 12-0........this is the carnival ride that is Auburn football. Interesting bit about their schedule : Auburn doesn't play a road game until October 8th at Mississippi State. They start the season off with 5 straight home games. They don't play their 2nd road game until October 29th at Ole Miss.

How many P5 teams have ever started a season with 5 straight home games? seems crazy

Alabama A&M W 55-0
@ Alabama L 31-21
7-5 (4-4), Music City Bowl
They will give Clemson all they can handle for a half, maybe even 3 quarters, but Watson will finish that off. They will also give LSU all they want. Wouldn't be surprised at all if they win that one at home. The road games at Oxford, Athens and Tuscaloosa are rough.
I think they'll be better on offense and similar on defense to the team that showed up the 2nd half of last season, but it still won't be enough to overcome the better teams on the schedule on the road.

It's going to be fun watching Dabo celebrate on Pat Dye Field at Jordan-Hare in the Jungle.
7-5, they have one upset in them.

They went 12-0 in 2010 with Ted Roof running around.
Don't use rational thinking when predicting an Auburn football season. The rational is irrational when it comes to them.

Who can say? Its Auburn and since everyone doesn't think they can win... a national title could be in the cards.Or a horrible season.
My problem with a big Auburn season, though it could happen, is that their DC is the poo so far in SEC play, they still don't have a solid option QB, and that their early season could very well sink them before they get into the depth of conference play.

What happens if JJ lives up to the 2015 pre-season hype, this year?

That schedule is deceptive too, because they don't hit the road for a while but they still have to play Clemson, LSU and Texas A&M at home early. If you start that stretch 2-3 all of a sudden you look up and 4 of your last 7 games are on the road and 3 of them are at Ole Miss, Georgia and Alabama with physical Arkansas sandwiched in there too.
Like you said, that is the sort of thing that could snowball.

If they drop Clemson and LSU early, Gus will have his hands full not to lose the team.

Not to mention A&M. Not a lot of gimme's early. 3 of the first 4 are at home, but they are tough.
