What is going to happen to the Ole Miss 2016 signing class?

Will these kids get a chance to transfer?
Will the NCAA hold them accountable for accepting cash for a visit and more cash for signing? They might be ruled ineligible. That would suck for the kids.
Usually, they would be suspended and required to pay back the money. That won't be easy.
Tough call.

They are going to tear through the SEC West with a major chip! You can book that little piggy!

Don't think the NCAA will be done in time for this season. It reminds me of our 3 year investigation.
However, to answer your question if you are sanctioned with no bowl eligibility then you can have players transfer without penalty of sitting out. We had a few really good players leave in 2003 that crippled us even further for the 03-06 seasons then in 07 we were left with players nobody else wanted. Even in 08 we had a full 85 again but like 35 had never played in a game before. Didn't fully recover to actually 2011. It will take ole sis longer. Whatever the penalty is you can double that. if its 3 years of schollie redecutions then it will take you 6 years to get back to full 85 in the SEC but even they are inexperienced. It suuuuuuux. If they get hit for the 2017 class they will have a competetive team again in about 2024 or 25.

How is Arkansas going to field a team When Fat Bert starts canabalizing all of the players in the roster?
Will only the vegan Vegetarians be left ? When does it stop ? Haven't enough people been basted and consumed in sweet baby rays?

Link on where this happened? I'll wait.....never mind not worth my time cause you won't find anything. Classic Arky. Trolls of the SEC. Seems like only 4 out of every 25 Arky posters are worth a shite.

Put aside your emotions as a fan for a minute, and be realistic.
If you're a player (or the parent of a player), would you want to jeopardize a possible future career by playing for a team that faces imminent sanctions?
If we're talking about a kid who simply wants to play ball at OM and go no further than that, I get it.
And I'm sure those players exist.
But if my son is looking to make the jump to the next level, I can't think of any school that's worth attending, knowing it faces scholly limits, bowl bans, and/or other ramifications.
I do, however, understand your hopeful attitude.

They will have a winning record against every team in the west. What a class!

If they enroll, they go through their cfb career with a different Head Coach and no Bowl.

Great explanation of the barrier placed before Ole Miss recruits. These kids need to be thinking about their future.
Do you want to be associated with a team that has disgraced the entire conference? I don't think so.

No bowl, different head coach? You sure you aren't thinking of the dumpster fire and Drunkard over at atm?
I'm embarrassed for you. Keep running that State..

Don't be so angry.
But if you want to bring A&M into the discussion ....
Only two things in my life (faith and family) rate ahead of Texas A&M University in terms of significance.
However, if I had a son who was on scholarship at A&M and hoping to play pro ball--and the Ags were facing the penalties that Ole Miss potentially faces--I'd strongly encourage him to bounce outta Aggieland.
But as a previous poster mentioned, it's the 2017 class (not 2016) that likely will reflect the situation.

They're the 3rd best class in the sec west.

Best because we have a legitimate QB. Not that it matters. We just went .500 or better against the division with the 45th ranked class in the nation.

I wonder if all the ineligible players will qualify for a red shirt? That would help Ole Miss with the scholarship reductions.
