They are talented, most definitely, but we've yet to see if they're SEC material. I don't doubt they are. The sample size of each is between a little and none.

Wouldn't disagree with you....none of them have seen any real action except Bateman and his disaster half against Ole Miss....fortunately we have the ground game and skill players around to take the pressure off them...and Kiffin is the quarterback whisperer...so we will see.

Since when did Alabama need a real good QB? Was AJ a real good QB? How many Natties have we picked up lately with "game managers"?

Jay Barker/Andrew Zow/Greg McElroy/AJ McCarron/Blake Sims/Jake Coker........This is who Bama has been winning national and conference titles with for much of my adulthood. QB's that are below average - absolute non-NFL caliber QBs. Forgive me if I'm not worried about the QB position.
