On multiple occasions, cars were allegedly loaned for an impermissable period to two players. It's been previously confirmed that Cannon Motors in Oxford loaned cars to Laremy Tunsil. Level I
Ole Miss compliance staff allegedly failed to monitor the loaner car situation. Staffers allegedly learned of an improper loan in October of 2014 and didn't do anything about, making that player ineligible for six subsequent games he played in. Level II
A booster allegedly gave $800 cash to a player. Level I
A booster allegedly provided impermissible lodging to a player on multiple occasions. Level I
Assistant coach Chris Kiffin allegedly provided two nights of impermissible lodging. Level III
Kiffin allegedly arranged for free meals and free nights at a hotel for a recruits family members. Level II
Kiffin allegedly had an impermissable 10-minute, off-campus conversation with two recruits. Level III
A booster allegedly provided four recruits with unspecified "inducements" totaling about $2,200. Assistant coach Maurice Harris was not only aware of this, but helped arrange the benefits for two of the recruits. Level I
Someone from the Ole Miss video department allegedly filmed recruits wearing Ole Miss gear in the IPF, then showed that video to the recruits and their parents. Level III
Former Houston Nutt assistants David Saunders and Chris Vaughn allegedly helped rig ACT results for three recruits in 2010. Level I
Saunders, Vaughn and current assistant Derrick Nix allegedly arranged for impermissible housing, meals and transportation in 2010. Level I
Vaughn allegedly lied to NCAA investigators in 2013. Level I
Saunders allegedly lied to NCAA investigators in 2013 and 2014. Level I

Ole Miss getting impermissible lodged by the NCAA right now.

You know what I find the most strange about all of this? The fact that Ole Miss fans think that they can't get in trouble for something that happened prior to Freeze.

I have no idea. I guess you could say the same about everyone else praying for the death penalty. The list doesn't look that bad. If we avoid a TV and postseason ban, I'll be happy but I'm not losing sleep over it either way.

They're borderline campaigning on that being the case.
The pleading nature of parts of the letter indicate as such.
I would bet a large percentage of NCAA punishments are meted out to new staffs.
It stinks for the coaches, players, and fans; but that's the nature of things.

"All but one of the 16 Level I violations arose from intentional misconduct committed by rogue former employees or boosters outside the University's direct control acting in contravention of rules education provided to them by the University," the report said. "Although a post-season ban may be imposed in a Level I -- Mitigated case, the University believes a ban is unnecessary here based upon applicable precedent and because the most serious allegations occurred years ago, involving staff and student-athletes long-since separated from the University."

How long are Ole Miss fans going to fight this? It's like something I have never seen before. Ole Miss has committed major violations. You self imposed penalties, however you committed more major violations while being investigated for 3 years. You are going to get more scholarship reductions which are a back breaker for the program. You are going to get post season bans which are especially damaging. There is no way around the facts that your program is screwed and your head coach may lose his job.

The reason why that matters is because if it's all pre-Freeze they don't have to fire Freeze.

"On the first day of the 2016 NFL Draft, new information came to light involving a former football student-athlete," the letter said. "That very night, the University and NCAA began a joint review to determine whether bylaws have been violated, and we hope this review will be concluded soon. To ensure fairness to all parties and pursuant to [Committe of Infractions] procedure, we have asked the COI to remove the hearing from this summer's docket until this review can be completed and closed."
