Nick Saban's quick tips to keep out of jail

"There are three bad things," Saban said while commenting on Tuesday's arrests of Alabama players Cam Robinson and Hootie Jones on gun and drug possession charges after they were found by Monroe police alone sitting in a car in a city park at 2 a.m.
"Nothing good happens after midnight. Nothing good happens when you're around guns unless you're going hunting. And you don't want to mess around with women you don't know because a lot of times bad things happen.
"In this case, a couple of those things were violated. I think it's going to be a learning experience for everybody on our team."

He could have just said don't break the fricking law. Seems fairly obvious.

So it's Midnights fault
So it's the guns fault
So it's the girls fault
So it's the guns fault
So it's the girls fault

I think you missed his point but that's expected.

The point that although their judgement is terrible, it's really not their fault. They fall victim to these circumstances?
I didn't miss that point

You are everything wrong with this country. How is saying not putting yourself in certain situations will help you avoid trouble blaming something else.

no that wasn't the point to any rational person.

You have terrible reading comprehension.

Yes it was. He's taking the "aw shucks" approach to play the situation down, and part of that is painting them as victims of circumstance.

Some of you people are so obtuse. That's not what he said at all. He's saying they should know these things but didn't act on what they already know. That they made poor choices but that the rest of the team can learn from the mistakes of others (these players) so they don't make similar mistakes.
He nowhere said, insinuated, or implied that they were victims.
I think I might respect some of you more if you'd just nut up and offer some honesty - "Hey, I hate Nick Saban and everything about him. I enjoy seeing him face discomfort and adversity in any manner. This situation has been fun for me as it allows me to slam Nick Saban and troll Bama fans all while receiving some increased hope in beating Bama this year since the loss of a top 10 NFL prospect will likely weaken their team".

Look man, I'll just give you the benefit of the doubt because you're a Bama fan. But you're wrong

Nick has it all wrong. There is one secret to not getting in trouble in life:
Don't break two laws at once
You have drugs in the car? Don't speed.
You drunk in public? Don't drive.
You have a gun in the car? Don't have drugs.
You with a women you don't trust? Don't do illegal shite around her.
You going to trespass on a property? Don't steal shite.
etc.
Almost every time you hear of someone getting in trouble they broke more than one law to get there.

Pot meet kettle. His entire statement could be interchanged with Saul Goodman wagging his finger and calling "knuckleheads" the three kids who he's defending, right before the jury is shown a video of them fricking a corpse.
He's being completely disingenuous in an attempt to make the situation look like they slipped and fell into felony charges.
