Is that Good Ole JR from WWE on the LSU bus?

I am grateful to Kevin Steele...Had his defense NOT allow 70 points to be hung on Clemson in the Orange Bowl, Dabo would not have fired him and we would not have Brent Venables.

I am also grateful to him. Were it not for him duping Auburn into paying LSU to hire him, we could not have hired Aranda and offset his increased salary with Auburn's money.

Also Auburn, thank you for D Craig.
Our last WR coach was not very good and was a below average recruiter.

How could he pass up a ride on the Gus Bus.

He has done well at LSU with our QB/WR communication and he is one HELL of a recruiter.
That's really all we need. Cameron does a solid job with the WR technical stuff.

[LSU fans in 2015] Oh man I am looking forward to Steele so much. What a defensive mastermind. So much better than the fat guy he replaced. [/LSU fans in 2015]

Your WR coach is now bad.

We're letting Craig coach the QBs. He splits time with WRs and QBs. We have a multitude of coaches that can teach WR play.
Our wideouts looked as good as they have in a long time in the spring game.

Hell, if Steele does a good job but Gus is out in two years, Steele would have a fighting chance to go for the HC job.

He's going to give that Jeremy Johnson touch.

This is such hogwash.
The rant had an absolute melt down. There were like 4 posters trying to spin it positively. There had to be 30 bannings from people freaking out.
That was the worst melt in the last couple of years.
ETA:
I got a nice ban for that too I believe . God that was a bad hire. Auburn hired him because his brother is the Assistant AD or some shite. Les showed him the door.
Being pissed about Steele also doesn't mean there weren't a lot of folks wanting Chavis to go. They just didn't want that dumbass head case awful DC to replace him. And FTR, I wanted Chavis to stay. We were a consistently good D with him.
But I am so fricking pumped about Aranda and to see what he can do with our talent.

Yeah the main thing in the Chavis ordeal was LSu fans saying he wasn't worth the 1.7 million A&M offered and that he hadn't earned a raise just by getting interest from another school. No one was excited about Steele. It was a very WTF hire for pretty much everyone. What you may have seen is some people thinking LSU's talent would make up for some of his deficiencies, not that he was a good coach. Everyone was well aware of him falling on his face at Clemson

cardboard has a hard time realizing that people are generally disingenuous on this board. "never let em se you sweat" kind of thing.
we all knew Steele was a bad hire and prayed talent alone would make him look better than he was. Hell, the Steele hire is what really ramped up the "fire Miles" shite, again.
