You're seriously not going to rustle anyone's jimmies over Kevin Steele, but congrats on your failed troll thread.

He sucks. Bottom line. Now he can coach weed heads at Auburn

Isnt this the same Kevin Steele, that almost everyone on this message board made fun of LSU for hiring?
Dude is your problem now. Quit trying to troll LSU because they didn't put up a fight to keep him in BR.

The really neato thing is that aubie hired who LSU fired.
LSU's first seven wins were all offense and despite the defense
Then reality caught up and Steele was exposed as a bad defensive coordinator
Then Gus hired Steele as defensive coordinator

There is a reason Saban demoted Steele after one year at Bama and promoted Smart to DC.

Frankly, I suspect LSU was too hostile an environment at the time. Uncertainty about Miles' job and rumblings of problems in the government combined with a lots of criticism directed at him. Auburn isn't going to be much easier, but it's a fresh start and Gus will last at least two more years. Hell, if Steele does a good job but Gus is out in two years, Steele would have a fighting chance to go for the HC job. He wouldn't have that at LSU, given how unpopular he'd become.

I'll take the Craig/Steele trade any day of week.

no LSU fan thinks he's a bad DC. There were fans that didn't think he was worth the money A&M offered, and that's actually a valid position. But no, most LSU fans acknowledges he's a great coach

I think we can all agree that was the best decision he's made since he had the idea to start this thread. The real troll thread is, did Aubie really PAY LSU to take Steele? How dumb is that?

I remember when he came to AU, all the LSU posters making threads saying "Thanks for taking him" and stuff acting like they were happy. Deflection?
Legitimate glee.
Guy is an atrocious defensive coordinator. And we nabbed a top 5 one to replace him.

Auburn is going to have one of their worst defenses in years. They're in deep shite if Malzahn can't pull a serviceable quarterback out of his arse.
