The 'arrested' part of the headline doesn't bother me as long as it paints an accurate picture. That, unfortunately, isn't the case with the Montgomery Advertiser story in the OP's link.
"4 Auburn Players Arrested on Drug Charges"
. While technically true, that's 100% click bait that intentionally gives the impression of something worse than driving around with some weed in the car. I guess it was too much to say "Misdemeanor Marijuana"
Oh, and props to the REC doing work. Won't hear another word about Bo Davis now.

Pretty much sums the entire deal up.
With all the politics of it aside and as scholarship athletes who could/should be crucial to their team who could assuredly use the help, they should not be smoking pot, offseason or not - but I'm not gonna act like I was above it in college. Smoking pot is awesome as long as you make the right choices with it and don't get caught.
It's unfortunate, but a misdemeanor pot charge is not gonna break someone's future in 2016 America. Have them run stadiums till they puke everyday for a week this summer and be done with it.
