re: Uniforms vs UK

I agree - the first time we came out with the sleeves with that section of Auburn split stripes on them I was in love.
I'm partial to the orange too but the navy and white versions weren't bad either. This style though, not the Kris Frost era or JF3 one with the length-wise stripe.

T-Will also leaked an up close look at the low top cleats - Navy with what appears to be a modified tiger stripe. I don't love these but they should look good as a package with the uniforms, and the all orange bottoms will be cool in action.

Uniforms vs UK

I searched and couldn't find if its been posted, but Auburn is going all navy everything against UK to start the season.
Navy heavy look including socks, sleeves, bands, cleats, gloves (2nd pic) and updated bottoms.
*updates to pants are apparently the buckle and a couple of modified stitching lines.

I like it - kinda takes me back to the black cleats days but with a more modern update.

That is correct. Needed 7 to tie it according to the numbers I saw yesterday, Danjel's 3 should've been for the new record. now we just gotta keep playing and finish this off.
re: Tate Martell

Yeah it had Martell, Fromm, and a black dude with a good attitude that went to a smaller D1 (don't recall his name though). Actually a cool concept for a show, but Tate made himself look like a self-centered a-hole throughout.
To be fair I obviously don't know the kid, and maybe that's not how he really is and just how the show wanted him to be pinned, but based on that show he'd be at the Ag Center with a shovel within a week.

Want to learn a little bit about Tate Martell and the immature BS that is a guaranteed part of his package deal - watch "QB1" on Netflix and see what you think. I don't think that even desperate-to-win Gus would have him anywhere near the program whether hes a talented QB or not.

Still available? Paper tickets or e-tickets?
I have the opportunity to go kind of last minute here and I'm having trouble finding anything decent without ridiculous stub hub add ons.

The Blaze is badass if you want to get into the Fitbit game. I've only had mine for a short while, but I really enjoy all the things it keeps track of - wear mine pretty much all the time and really like the sleep tracker function and styling of it in general. Also scored a nice metal link band for work from amazon for $24 that makes it much more wearable for non-gym settings.
I would pull the trigger if you're thinking about one, especially if its on a good sale since they typically do not vary much in price.

Thanks for the info HubbaBubba. I have been doing some looking around today and this evening and I agree with your feelings on it and I feel a lot more informed about some of this more detailed stuff now.
Again I really appreciate the help. I will post back with what I decide to go with when I get to that point.

Ok, so I did a little looking into 1080i(interlaced) vs 1080p(progressive) and it does sound like the progressive is the better of the two options as far as what you see per frame. Is that not effected by it being a 4K unit though?
As for the HDR processing instead of being a true HDR panel, what does that mean exactly? It seems like if it will process it then it should output it in some way, otherwise what is the use? Is that content based?
I am not doing anything over the air for locals or anything antennae based, at least I don't think so, since I have cable and do all of my watching either through that or wifi - I actually may pick up an Ethernet cable to wire direct this time though.
This is the kind of stuff that gets me confused in a hurry so any help is appreciated.

That's what I am thinking as well - just looked at the real thing at Best Buy on my lunch break and the picture is really nice and crisp, blacks are dark like they should be, and the bezel is very thin and nice. Unfortunately for them, Best Buy retails it for between 1000 and 12000 depending on the sale.
I am upgrading from my college TV so this new technology being affordable is pretty wild to me. My current TV is a Sanyo 48" 1080 with 60hz refresh and terrible backlighting. This thing has 4K, a 65" screen, and does HDR and dynamic backlighting. That's about all I can really wrap my mind around as far as the tech, but I think this is going to have to happen.

Am I missing something about this TV deal?

Seems to me that this is a smoking deal for a 65" 4K TV by a reputable brand - but am I missing something? I get that its last years model but everything else seems pretty on par or even better than other similar offerings.

I figured you guys might help educate me a little better on 4K TV info as I am planning to upgrade this weekend. Thanks.

re: Why receiver Nate Craig-Myers did not play more in 2016 (247)
Posted by LuckyInKentucky on 1/6/17 at 2:37 pm
He plays ok on occasion, I will give him that. But it just seemed like he always had more negative plays (crucial drops, missed assignments) than positive. I'm not bashing him by any means, but at 6'4" he should've been much more consistent.
Nevertheless, hopefully some of the new guys can plug right into his spot and make a difference, especially with Stidham slinging the rock.

NCM still should have gotten more snaps than Tony Stevens' unproductive arse if healthy even for just the Sugar Bowl.
I will never understand why he was on the field with the options we had on the bench. You don't have to know much about the playbook to be a deep threat - run fast, find ball, catch ball, profit

Workout Board - Keeping It Going for 2017
Posted by LuckyInKentucky on 1/6/17 at 12:25 pm
A little background to start out - I am not a new years resolution dieter that is going to quit next week.
I started losing weight last year after seeing a picture of myself looking like dogshit and dropped around 80lbs in 2016 on my own using an elliptical, home gym setup and diet/supps. I started at 333 on Jan 4 last year and have been down to as low as 246 - I have more consistently stayed right at 250-253. I had a little lapse over the holidays but I am going strong again now. I typically do a full workout 5-6 times per week consisting of 4 miles on the elliptical and some rotation of arms/chest/legs/back/shoulder/core workouts depending on the week. I typically do this after work starting around 7-8pm.
Should I use whey or casein protein post workout / before bed if I am looking more to lose weight and tone rather than just build muscle. This is my main goal and I cannot find a solid answer online without analyzing a bunch of scientific test data.
What do you OT workout gurus think I should try next to keep things moving forward?
