Pollack beat USC... Was one of the best football plays I have seen . He had a motor and got the team and fans into it.

Whats the name of the UK Qb around that time? Lorentz or something? Dude man was about 240 or so and Pollack was the only one that brought him down.

Jared Lorenzen was a tad bigger than 240. He was somewhere between 290-310 depending on what he had for breakfast in the morning.

Even his clean his are so nasty they produce flags.
He was the most underrated guy on the team. There's a reason he's one of the best safeties in the league right now.

I definitely think he was a stud. I think what surprises me about him being a pick is just the field of people to choose from. So many guys to pick but you recall him. Not at all saying you're wrong but you see what I'm saying? His defenses were unremarkable and he wasn't terribly charismatic. He also played a visual role in our loss to GT. But I'll be damned if he wasn't a stud (and was pretty instrumental in our win the next year vs GT).

Looking back on it after you bring it up, I'm reminded how studly he was. Still hard to overlook other safeties because we've been so blessed. I'm clouded by my favorite, Shawn Williams

I knew that's what you were thinking about. He was scared of drawing a penalty on that play, he talked about it in an interview. I think I remember him well because every game that out our defense shite on itself in 2009 he was still there laying the wood. He had an excellent game against LSU 2009.
