I just got my NCAA/EA Sports Likeness settlement check and I have some strong feelings about it. (1/5)

NCAA Video Game > This Check

Use my likeness. I don't care.

I'll send my check back if NCAA Football returns.(2/5)

I understand that money is measurable, but BEING IN a video game that's played by millions of people?

How much is that exposure worth?(3/5)

Advertisers would love that type of presence.

What's more valuable, short-term $ or being in a Video Game that people play for years?!(4/5)

Not to mention, playing as YOURSELF in a game is priceless. Current players deserve that experience, too.

BRING BACK NCAA FOOTBALL!(5/5)

I like the sentiment, but it's easy for someone to say "exposure is worth more than money" when he's got a ton of money. Someone not so fortunate would probably enjoy the coin

Yea, I don't necessarily disagree with McElroy, but he wasn't exactly in the same financial boat growing up or in college as 90% of his teammates were.

My thoughts exactly. He seems as though he has always been on the longer end of the stick

Yea, I'm pretty sure the job of Senior Vice President for the Dallas Cowboys puts food on the table without much worry.

Yeah, but when you divide the share up by the thousands of player, I can't imagine it would even be enough money to make much difference to the individual player.
