Vandy fans I am sure are jumping for joy.
So, where does Vandy look too?

Too or to?
interesting to see who will put their name in for the job. It is an attractive one for a young coach.

Will Wade is the top target I think. Young Nashville guy and childhood Vanderbilt fan that's had success everywhere and landed an extremely highly ranked recruiting class at Harvard. Everything fits.

If you're correcting grammar, might as well go all the way with it.
It should be "to whom does Vanderbilt look". Ending a sentence with a preposition is improper.

Stansbury is all but gone to Western Kentucky. Maybe Stallings would be interested in coming to Aggieland as his replacement.

That grammatical rule, much like the dictate against split infinitives, is a myth. There's nothing wrong with ending a sentence with a stranded preposition. The rule supposes people are too stupid to find/deduce the object unless it's written explicitly in a specific place. Most people aren't actually that stupid, copious amounts of evidence on the Internet notwithstanding.
Anyway, I'm going to wait until something actually happens before casting about for potential replacements.

So Pitt looked for a basketball coach in the SEC?
Do they want to purposely suck???

Apparently some random Pitt fan thinks so. From his wiki entry, almost certain to be edited in short order:
"On March 27, 2016, he was named Head Basketball Coach at the university of Pittsburgh. This ruined everyone's Easter."
Yeah, someone's bitter.

ETA: Yep, someone's really bitter. Other items from the same entry...
"Title Dream Crusher
Team All Pitt Basketball Fans"
and the caption for his picture is "Moments Before Blocking Sheldon Jeter'S Transfer Request" Sheldon Jeter is a Pitt player who transferred from Vandy and had a rather...difficult time with Coach Stallings not granting him a release. Man, it'll almost be worth not having a coach just to see the hilarious fallout if Jeter suddenly finds himself playing for Stallings again.

Yeah...Pitt isn't going to be a long stop for him. Five years max.

Strand a preposition today and before you know to they are walking the streets for money.

It's still improper. I can't think of a situation where you'd purposefully split a preposition from its object.
You see infinitives split all the time for effect, though. "To boldly go" is the example that's cited ad infinitum.
