Oxford has been the most overrated town in the SEC I've visited thus far. Outside of the campus, most of the town looks like any other small rural town. The way you frickers talk about it make it seem as if the roads are made of marble and the sidewalks are coated with gold.

Thank you. I used to hear the stories about the "gold and marble" of Oxford. Finally, I went and was like,"This is it?". I was very disappointed. Typical rural Mississippi town.
