Also averaged 4.6 yards per carry with 11 TDs last season. But of course you don't mention rushing when talking about a DUAL-THREAT QB

You forgot the only stat that matters to tennessee fans.

Number of pump fakes vs Alabama
Josh Dobbs: 1
Everyone else: 0

146 att, 671 yards, 4.6 avg, 11 TD

And that's with sack yardage factored in. Probably rushed for close to 800 if you take that out.

What were Kelly's? He only really started running in our last 4 or 5 games and had like 10 td's and 500 yards. He can run it.

Ole Miss' leading rusher:
Jaylen Walton, 730 yards rushing

Josh Mothertrucking Dobbs, 671 yards rushing

Chad is a better QB, I won't dispute that.

I'm not saying that, just wondering how he stacks up as far as running it. Someone else was talking about how good of a runner Dobbs was, and I think Kelly will stack up rather well.

Remember that time TT9 didn't post in a Tennessee thread?

So are sacks not part of the game now?

he's a good QB and if you have one of those you can win some football games

now you just need a defense that doesn't fold like a wet paper bag when the games on the line

Dobbs was about 70 yards less than your leading rusher

106, 509, 4.8, 10

And game splits indicate he was running for most of the year. Just started having a lot more success with it late in the year.

Defense will be better this year:

Coaching upgrade - check
Talent upgrade - check
Returning starters and depth - check

Tennessee only gave up 20 ppg and improved from 24.0 ppg the year before. They should improve again this year.
