Clear Bag Policy
"Auburn reviews its public safety and stadium security policies every year looking for ways to improve them. The University strongly believes that the clear bag policy will enhance public safety and make stadium access more efficient. This proactive measure will enhance safety inside and outside the stadium and speed the security screening process for our fans. The public deserves to be in a safe, secure environment. We constantly look for ways to enhance stadium safety, and clear bags are part of best practices endorsed by security experts," Auburn Athletics said.

Beginning in 2016, Athletics will increase safety measures with a new clear bag policy for Jordan-Hare Stadium, mirroring policies enacted by the NFL and many other collegiate venues. Patrons will be allowed to enter with one 12" x 12" x 6" clear bag. Other permissible items include wallets and small clutches, not exceeding 4.5" x 6.5".

Items that will not be permitted include camera cases, diaper bags, printed patterned plastic bags, purses, back packs, mesh bags, binocular cases, fanny packs or tote bags.

As a service to our fans, there will be several checked bag areas at Plainsman Park and Auburn Arena. There will also be lockers that fans can use to store their items and then retrieve them following the game.

The clear bag policy should enable us to move fans through our security check points much faster. A standard size clear bag eliminates the need for bag templates that measure bag sizes. It is our belief that this new policy will make the stadium security screening process more effective and efficient for our fans.

How hard is it for security to check people's bags? It takes 10 seconds per person at most.

I'll still sneak booze in easily though.

Well to be fair that's in the student section. They don't give a shite whether they bring stuff in or not as long as you aren't already plastered going in.

They will be selling lockers at the stadium too. So they get to claim "security" while charging $35/locker #profit

So does anyone want to go in with me and start a company that makes these clear bags? We can market them as being stadium approved by the NFL and participated college stadiums. We can even put team logos on them.

That's not the case anymore. For the past 3 years I haven't entered the student section without being fully patted down

All you have to do is put a flask in your back pocket and have your shirt tail covering it.
