If he doesn't leave for Memphis, I'm sure he'll eventually win with the way he's recruiting. I mean surely he'll eventually have to overwhelm teams with talent. I guess chemistry issues and injuries are a pretty big deal, but it still seems like he should have won more the past couple years with the individual talent he's had. Like I said, he's had about 6 guys on this year's team that could play for anybody. Even a guy like Dunans wouldn't be the 13th guy on UK's roster (regardless of what he was rated as a recruit).

Also Memphis does worry me some but I don't know if they can afford it with both buyouts.

We've had more than a few. Last year Bowers was playing C. This year PG. Freshmen are starting to play better now, but they weren't early. That's expected. Dunans isn't our best player, but he's easily the most important. I'm not down on Bruce after all the bad luck. We'll be fine going forward.

Uh yeah, we've had Bowers at C and PG at times this year. Granger has played PF and SG. Bruce has had to shuffle the lineup all year long. Not to mention having to play some pretty bad walkons for extended minutes.

Our starting lineup next year says different. You're on the bubble and could barely beat a Pearl team at home with no PG. Count your blessings. Especially count your blessings that Wichita was injured, which set in motion your other flukey OOC wins. Pearl gets better with time. What's Avery's track record with time?

Outside of Obasohan (who never averaged more than 6 ppg before this year), we have very little to work with. We have the second worst roster (with Ingram out for the year and Nick King having to sit out as a transfer) in the league behind Mizzou. I'm thrilled with what we've done. There's no reason we should be on the bubble, but yet we are. And should be MUCH MUCH better next year.

I'm not exactly a prude, but I have a serious question. Do you have a personal quota of making certain that you use profanity in every post you make. It doesn't bother me personally, but it's the strangest thing. If I've read 100 of your posts, you've said either "frick", "damn", or "shite" in every single one of them, even when it's out of place or a very short message.
