Why do they treat Roll Tide like a period at the end of a sentence?
Example: bama fan at the bar just now..
"Let me get a purple motherfricker and a bud liiiigggghhhhtttt. Rollllll tyyyyyydeee"

For the same reason that every LSU fan ever smells like corn dogs.

Why do LSU fans say "tiger bait"? Isn't bait what you use when you want to trap something?

It's actually a stand-alone exclamatory sentence.
For example, "Boy, you sure are butthurt about LSU losing five in a row to Alabama. Roll Tide!"
