And seriously, this isn't sour grapes.
Far from it. I know they are 18 year old kids but that's part of growing up: my parents and grandparents taught me that if you make a commitment you stick with it. And if you don't stick with it, be a man and do the right thing by telling someone that you are breaking your commitment and why.

I said the same thing a while back and it's not about a Najee with me.
It's about what the whole recruiting racket thing has become.I said this to a fellow Bama fan.
I hope coach burns at his age has a few more boys to Bama men lessons left in him.
This brand new baby boy is gonna take a lot.

As for this kid I would had rather he be the bell cow of the recruiting class. But he was not the one.
The savages rally came form the one it should have.

Like all 5 stars that inter the Bama program his stars will also be dropped at the door.
At Mich they wanted to hand him the title LEGEND.
At Bama like the past great backs he going to have to earn it with(no-more)
" I just want him to come back home" (from Moma).

His mom seems to want him at UM as it seemed he wanted to fly to TTown and she talked him out of it to come home first and then she said she will move to wherever he goes. Sounds like family going to relocate to AA

Focus now on NC and the kids that want to be at UA RTR!

Think about what a waste of talent it would be for Harris to end up at Cal Berkley. The #1 recruit and a RB going to the Air Raid attack. LMAO!

Anyone know who this is in reference to? Maybe Depriest?

Cal berkley for a cal kids is never a bad choice outside of it's football
Again I don't think Mich is a bad choice for any kid.
Your gonna get great football on a(big stage) conference and a very good degree.
From a school who has a very strong alumni whip.

With me it's what the whole recruiting thing has become.
We got way to many people begging 18 yr old kids entertaining all this theatrics.
It's all about the recruiting money now and kids are feeling entitled.
I love the fact that at Bama no one is bigger than the program as History shows that all dynasties die from with in.

This team will have to over come all the pun-dents who are now tired of them winning.
So thats gonna take keeping the right minded kids in the program.
I am enjoying this ride and if we win or lose Monday night at this attempted double back to back under saban.
I will never let a multi loss season under this coach bother me for the rest of his coaching career at Bama.
He has no other way to lead the bama fan base but back down to earth.

SAN ANTONIO — About the only thing certain for Najee Harris, the No. 1 overall recruit from Antioch (Calif.), is that he said he needs minor knee surgery for a small meniscus tear.

Beyond that, he’s keeping everyone guessing whether he’ll next step on campus at Alabama or Michigan or Slippery Rock, for that matter. Where and when he has the surgery might depend on his college choice.

Harris, an American Family Insurance ALL-USA running back, said earlier in the week that he wasn’t planning to make a public announcement of his intentions at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl and remained true to his word.

“I’m having surgery and after that …,” Harris said on the field after the Army Bowl. “I liked competing out here. Where I’m going is not a surprise. I’m just not telling y’all.”

Earlier in the week, a person familiar with Harris’ plan said his mother asked Army Bowl officials to switch Harris’ flight Sunday from San Antonio to Birmingham. Harris was initially scheduled to fly home to Oakland. The person was not authorized to speak because Harris family’s request has not been made public.

However after the Army Bowl, his mother, Tianna Hicks, said, “His momma wants him home in Oakland.”

In the game, Harris ran eight times for a net gain of 22 yards.

The knee injury had been nagging him during the season, but he played throughout the season.

Harris has been committed to Alabama since April 2015, but signals in recent weeks had suggested he was strongly considering Michigan. He began following a bunch of Michigan players and then was seen on video wearing a Jordan Brand Michigan shirt on Christmas Day.

Classes begin Jan. 11 at Alabama and began last week at Michigan.
