You might want to rethink that. We have Trey Quinn.

There's no chance we're in the running for a top spot. I was simply hoping to fall somewhere in the middle. Just had this discussion on the Georgia boards, but it was really interesting the overall lack of talent that UGA has had at WR, given some of the QB talent we had during the Richt era.

David Greene, DJ Shockley (?), Matthew Stafford, and Aaron Murray - 12 years of pretty good to great QB play... in that time, here is the list of WRs that you might consider at least decent (WG's list):

quote:

AJ Green
Fred Gibson
Terrence Edwards
Reggie Brown
Malcolm Mitchell
Damien Gary
Tavarres King
Chris Conley
Michael Bennett
Kris Durham
Mohammed Massaquoi

Only one truly elite WR. Gibson and Edwards both quite strong and Mitchell I feel like could have been great were he able to stay healthy but still not "elite". Otherwise, that is not a particularly talented WR group for a 15 year stretch with 12 years of pretty solid QB play and a highly regarded OC (by everyone other than his own fanbase).
