Who also carried it a lot more than him. He put it on the ground plenty. I'm not really that sad about losing our 3rd or 4th best back

While running the ball (stupid one was a passing play), he avg ~45carries/fumble. All those guys had similar or worse seasons
Carnell - 50car/fum 2004
Mason - 45 car/fum 2012
OMac - 28 car/Fum 2011
Dyer- 60 car/fum 2011

Not sad, but this Roc Thomas spins and jukes causing fumbles is a myth. He has never fumbled that way in his career.
He isn't some beacon of ball security and needed to improve, but his two fumbles he just got stripped while being tackled going forward.

Never said it was. I said he spins too much, and puts the ball on the ground a lot.

A ton of people have put the spin/jukes as causing the fumbles.
He fumbled on the last play of his first game vs SJSU, then only had 1 ball security related fumble in his career. He needed to improve obviously but this wasn't a Mario FanFumble situation

Not sure if posted yet but apparently with this Briles stuff Mond is supposed to decommit from Baylor and make his new commitment by the end of the week.
AU or OSU

Know where that's from?
FWIW he wasn't really committed to Baylor. It was a situation where everyone knew he wasn't going there. If he commits to Auburn we'll have to fight to keep him on board through singing day

That's from 247. I think they said it came from a Texas A&M 247 reporter
Yeah I knew he wasn't going to Baylor anyways, I just thought the "it will happen this week" part was new.

Per tOSU 247 Urb would like Mond's choice to come later. Not sure if Urb is ready to take Mond yet. Their guess in AU right now.

I watched a little bit of highlights earlier, and he reminds me a bit of Josh Dobbs. Other than him supposedly not going to Baylor anymore, I know nothing about him. He kind of looks like a pass first dual threat type quarterback, IYAM.

Playing at IMG we would get to see him play a few times this fall.

Are these carries per fumble or fumbles LOST per carry?

Josh Dobbs and Deshaun Watson to me, as recruits, were similar. Obviously Watson took off to another stratosphere, but Mond has reminded me of Watson for some time now. Obviously that's what his ceiling is.

Why would this be fumbles lost? When talking about ball security, that would be like saying "He has good history of winning the lottery so his 'problem' isn't as bad"
Fumble recovery is about as random as it gets statistically and has no bearing on ball security discussions

Who are the "good guys." When every fan base refers to their school in this way, this statement could mean upwards of 128 FBS schools
