Tuesday, February 2nd
#20 Kentucky @ Tennessee (7PM, ESPN)
LSU @ Auburn (7PM, SECN)
South Carolina @ Georgia (7PM, ESPNU)
Alabama @ Mississippi State (9PM, SECN)
Wednesday, February 3rd
Arkansas @ Florida (7PM, SECN)
Ole Miss @ Missouri (9PM, SECN)
Thursday, February 4th
#5 Texas A&M @ Vanderbilt (7PM, ESPN2)
Saturday, February 6th
Missouri @ Alabama (3PM, SECN)
Florida @ #20 Kentucky (4PM, CBS)
South Carolina @ #5 Texas A&M (4PM, ESPNU)
Auburn @ Georgia (5:30PM, SECN)
Mississippi State @ LSU (6PM, ESPN2)
Tennessee @ Arkansas (8PM, SECN)
Vanderbilt @ Ole Miss (8PM, ESPNU)
Big week for a few bubbleish teams
- If Alabama can win 2 games they will be 50/50 or favored in they will go into a home game with Texas A&M on 2/10 at 13-9 (4-6) with a RPI of between 50-60, giving them a huge chance to get back in the conversation.
- If Ole Miss can win a game they should @ Mizzou and beat Vandy at home they are all of a sudden 15-8 (5-5) but still with a low RPI. Would set up a huge road game @ Florida on 2/9
- Vandy has a huge 10 day stretch that could make or break its season. Home opportunity vs A&M, winnable games @ Ole Miss and vs Missouri. Sweep those, 15-9 (7-4) with an RPI in the top 50, they look to be in great shape going into the final stretch.
- Arkansas has crept up to 89 in the RPI. They still will need to steal a few games, first up @ Florida. If they can do that they have a very winnable stretch after : vs TN, @ MSU, @ OM, vs AU, vs MZ. If they can win 5/6 with 1 being @ FLA, they would jump to 16-11 (9-5) with an RPI around 70ish.
- Georgia is quietly still hanging around. 11-8 (4-4) with an RPI of 75. They USCe game is huge, really a must win. If they sweep the next 2 they are 13-8 (6-4) with a Top 60 RPI heading to Lexington.
Should be a fun stretch!

Very tough road game and another solid home opponent. If A&M can go 2-0 here I will feel very good after finishing things out.

The consistency that A&M has played with this season has been incredibly impressive.
The 4 game stretch of @ Vandy, vs USC, @ Bama, @ LSU is a pretty tricky one. After that you guys really have it all laid out for you and even get a home game with UK in there : vs OM, vs UK, vs State, @ MZ, @ AU, vs Vandy.
I think this 4 game stretch determines if you win the league or not.

Seriously, it's like they think everyone watching them lives in the Central Time Zone and so it is really 8 PM.
9 PM games in the East are late as fvck.

Time to burst the LSU bubble with a win out of nowhere. Sets up like the UK game. AU looks terrible coming in and then pulls off the huge upset at home.

That would be a killer for LSU coming off that loss to Oklahoma.
What happened to Auburn Saturday night? I was out and looked up early and they were down like 24-11. Did they just come out slowly or did Okie State come out on fire?

Bowers was suspended and Canty seems to have reached dgaf mode. We just can't score consistently with what we have out there right now.

Definitely. If we go 3-1 I will feel pretty good about our chances. 4-0 and I think we will have it close to locked up. I think going 3-1 is most likely, we will lose one of those road games. Wouldn't surprise me if it's LSU

I laid it out on the A&M board.
If A&M can split (3-3) @Van, USCe, @Bama, @LSU, UK, & Van and go 4-0 vs OM, MSU, @Miz, @Aub (all 100 or higher) then I think A&M gets at least a share of the title at 14-4.

How bout we agree that you let us win that one as payback for letting you win in BDS in 2013 with Johnny. Sound good? Good.

Hoping we split this week. Need the win at Georgia, already chalking up A&M as a loss.

Yea, that seems about right. Great year for the Ags this year.

Kentucky plays Tennessee and Florida....aka...Trash Week.

We HAVE to beat UGA. I don't feel confident at all about A&M so I consider this a must win due to our weak schedule.

At the moment I think you have to consider LSU in with the bubble teams. I don't think they make the tournament if it was decided today.

Yea, agree. Still think they find a way in.

I think Lunardi has them in the last 4 non-play in teams in, which honestly doesn't match their profile at all. A lot of people are doing the same thing most of us are, which is watching them against UK and OU and saying "that is a Top 20 team" and just pushing the actual resume over to the side assuming it will improve.

38-2 Here We Come!!!!! Go Gamecocks!
Posted on 2/1/16 at 10:17 am to Cheeky Fellow
Well alot of the damage to our resume was done while lsu was missing 2 of their best players. Then another one of our better players missed a few games.
I think alot of people are willing to put that aside when we beat down UK and was even with OU. But we still have to beat the teams we should. Like the 2 games this week.
