Bama is very popular in this area. The mall sells Bama gear, everyone likes Bama here. And I'm an LSU alum. LSUE.

It's kind of hard to answer this question without being clairvoyant. But considering Bama loses a lot of talent, LSU keeps a lot of talent and a DC upgrade, there's a chance it could be a little different from last year.

I don't think LSU will beat Bama next year. Bama is king of the hill. I'm hoping that LSUs talent returning can be enough to climb that hill and take it from them. But I don't expect it. You don't expect wins vs Bama teams, as a fan. I hope the players do. Fans are just confident your team can fight their balls off and make it happen. Their players have to wipe their arse after they shite too. They are beatable and LSU has the personnel to beat anyone IMO. Being confident doesn't mean you think it's a given.

Well, Bama loses a fair amount... but that never seems to matter. I think our defense will be as good as the defense we fielded in 2012, because of what we are returning and the hire of Aranda. Offense should improve with veteran receivers, and a healthy Brandon Harris with an entire season as the starter under his belt won't hurt either. We always seem to play Bama closely at home while fielding inferior teams, whereas when we play in Tuscaloosa, we become overwhelmed and get flat out dominated. I'm cautiously optimistic this year due to the fact that we will be able to match Bama in terms of talent and experience, which I don't feel like we've been able to do since 2011. Just my opinion though.
