Wasn't there something with women's basketball back in 2013?

I think it's pretty clear there is a lack of institutional control that is deeply seeded in the athletics department.

NCAA has been pretty soft lately and will likey use this opportunity to flex its muscles and bring pain down on Ole Miss. They can't afford to hammer a top school too hard but a program like Ole Miss won't be a big deal if it's not around for 5-7 years.

These are the same violations. The head coach and a couple of his assistants on their WBB team got caught. Hence why most of the violations are probably towards that because that is pretty serious stuff.

Gee, you're right and nothing in the article suggested that the women's basketball program was included in the allegations.

Would it really matter much if there wasn't women's basketball at Ole Miss for a few years? The school might actually make more money than they would having a women's basketball team.

May get ugly if true.

Wonder how many weeks they've had the letter? Glad it got leaked.
