Freeze is a good coach and an even better order taker. The Tuohy's, Mannings and Doc Hollingsworth, tell him what to do and he does it. Dickie Scruggs, fresh out of prison also along with David Nutt pour a lot of money into the coffers. The word among OM types in Memphis is that Archie pulls the strings.

So you are implying that Ole Miss's current position with the recruits rankings and current football success is all because of $$ from these wealthy supporters?

In terms of wealthy boosters, I don't think Ole Miss is even in the top 20. I've always heard that Texas has the wealthiest boosters. A few years ago, it was rumored that Texas may have the resources to take Saban from Bama. Oregon is a school that has the backing of Nike.

So if Ole Miss is doing some illuminati method to paid their recruits and manage to keep these recruit and NCAA quiet, other schools like Texas and Oregon will be doing it too. Yet, Oregon is at #24, and Texas is at #37.
