With all of the blue-blood programs out there fighting over talent, it is simply amazing how Freeze came out of nowhere to land that class with Tunsil, etc.

At the time, I thought that Freeze and his staff must be extremely charismatic and focused in their recruiting efforts. Something they are doing is resonating with the young players. Kudos to him for that

I also realized--and still do-- that this is the SEC. And that other programs are equally focused on, and excellent at , recruiting at the highest level. And if Freeze is now competing with and beating these monster programs for great recruits, it can't just be family atmsophere and his kind personality.

There is money exchanging hands as well.

As a Hog fan, I'm not mad. I'm just frustrated that we don't seem to do this very well

I'd like to know how many other Michael Oher's were found on the street and some Rich Memphis area Ole Miss alums just took em in out of the goodness of their heart?

Freezes incessant praying and hiding behind religion makes me skittish about him anyway. It's like he "thinks" he's got people fooled when he almost single handedly became the ruination of Memphis high school football with under handed, FBI probe leading tactics. I think he's just too ignorant to see how stupid and obvious he looks.

As long as he is there Ole miss wont be 47 ever again. THey may end up number one. Yes, Ole miss, in Oxford, number one class. Let that sink in. This NCAA isn't gonna punish anybody anyway. If this were the 80's 90's and 00's NCAA of Tom Yeager, Freeze would already be out just based on appearences which is all Yeager and Swank claimed they needed.

With all this speculation about Ole Miss and other programs paying recruits, it pretty amazing that the recruits themselves aren't outing these programs...

For example, 5* recruit visits program A and was offered $$, then recruit goes to rival program B and offered more $$$. What's keeping that recruit from disclosing program A? Or what's keeping a recruit from demanding more $$/playing time or he'll call TMZ? Or if a player is unhappy with his current program and transfers, he'll could vindictively disclosed that the program violated NCAA rules.
