Bama is the bluest of the bloods. It's commitment to winning, standards of excellence, and the passion of its fans are unrivaled by any team in sports.
Harness that to a coach like Saban and you have the unstoppable juggernaut that you see today. Saban is nowhere close to being done and it will go down as the greatest run in the history of college football thus solidifying Bana as the GOAT college program of all time.
So let it be written .....so let it be done.

Saban would have won two straight championships in '06, '07 and maybe (just maybe) the '05 season as well.

LSU 1999 football roster talent = near bankruptcy
After he won 2003 NC, he checked out on 2004 season -- all about NFL horizons.

Because Alabama is a superior program to LSU.

Sabans only national title at lsu was with Dinardo's players

Bama was ranked in the top 5 in 2005, finishing the year with a cotton bowl win and managed to make bowls the next two years. LSU was ranked high at one point early in 98 but fell hard and fast thru 99. Everything in the programs was a shambles.
I think shula would have had a rough year in 2007 but saban had them playing at a respectable level (ulm joke here)
Plus he learned A LOT in miami

LSU and Alabama are virtually identical in terms of resources

Complete bullshite.

Bama's recent success is due solely to Saban . Saban's recent success is not due to Alabama. He could have done this at 5 or 6 programs in the league , partly due to timing of the SEC. I seriously doubt that RR or Shula would have gotten mulligans after losing two home games in November.

Forbes list puts Bama 3 and LSU 4. Both are very similar in terms of facilities, fan bases, etc.

Then why does Bama beat L5U 67% of the time historically? All things being equal and such.

Why hasn't Coach Saban's Alabama teams had more success against ULM?

You must think otherwise. Recent history says no.

Bama was in better shape to start.
I disagree there.
You're dead wrong. LSU was in much worse shape when he arrived there.

You e been very fortunate to have 2 of the top 5 or so coaches of all time have extended stops at your school.

Luck is part of it, still doesn't mean you guys have the resources the machine does.
Especially when it comes to the benjamins.
