Uh, they didn't exactly participate in the peach bowl after the 2014 season.

The problem you run into with that statement is that Alabama fans have been right, whether you like it or not.
right about what exactly? that you're the best team in the conference? congrats?

This thread makes me smile. over a hundred downvotes and 15 pages. And people think Alabama fans are over sensitive. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

his point was LSU's numbers went down as the opponents got better, which is exactly what one should expect to happen. Alabama fans will literally do anything to discredit a team or player on a team that is presumed to be better than what Alabama has to offer, and will cherry pick whatever stats they need to for that resulting argument.
LSU's numbers went down in a more drastic manner relative to other teams in the league, which shows that they were a mediocre defense that year, not elite. That was the original discussion.
If you think "stats vs SEC teams" compared to "stats vs all teams" is a cherry picked stat, then you must look at stats much.
Not sure why that is such a big deal or argument. I don't think anybody presumed any slight regarding that LSU defense or Alabama or anything. We were just having a discussion.

post the stats of all SEC teams. You provided a ranking with zero context and then used that stat to argue a point. kind of a disingenuous argument without context to back it up

That was the nicest way I could put it. I mean technically they fielded a team, but that's about it.

This was a thread started by Ole miss fans trolling LSU and after page 2 it is nothing besides Bama fans chiming in.
Bama can say whatever they want but LSU is their rival

Brandon Harris was improving greatly until he got injured at Bama. I've had the same exact injury and it's very nagging with every day activities so don't act like his injury was nothing. People on here are so ignorant. 2,100 passing yards in a Les Miles offense while being injured through the meat of the schedule is pretty decent for a 2nd year QB if you ask me.
