This couldn't have been their first offense right? 100k seems very excessive

Bama was ranked top 5 at the time, why would anyone rush the field? Also, what does this have to do with college basketball?

suggest that idea to the boosters and clubs that support the team financially, I'm sure they will agree

heard Jay say he agrees with the rule and is happy to pay it. Most schools understand the importance of the rule. Player safety. Havent we seen instances where fans took a swipe at opposing players when they stormed the courts. Some silly fanatic could be carrying a knife.

Are you slightly retarded? You're comparing Alabama football to Auburn basketball.
When we make the Final Four this year, his point will be totally valid.

First time Bama ever beat a #1 team in Bryant Denny was 2014 vs Miss St. Didn't see any field rushing then.
I reiterate. Act like you've been there.
So Bama fans rushed the field for beating teams that wernt ranked number 1, why would they do that?

To my knowledge Bryant Denny has never been rushed. The Bama NC 92 the Sugar Bowl was covered in fans, but Harvy Updike was a lot younger.

Well you have at least rushed your other home field and I dont care to dig this all up again(its been on here multiple times), so... the point still stands.

Many poeple who rush the field after Bama wins a NC are fans of other teams who dress up like Bams and jump the fence. They just want to see what it feels like to win a NC. I'm thinking Ole Miss, LSU and Auburn. But I'm sure there are others...

It's funny bama fans and even representatives of their school like to perpetuate outright lies(sellout streak as another example). I guess they feel the need to compensate

No actually less than 2 months over 2 years, end of November 2013 is about 2 years and 6 weeks.
