I think those numbers are surprising for a completely different reason. Can't believe anyone tuned in.

Your bowl was played Saturday afternoon with no other games on. Of course it got good ratings. The liberty bowl last year was at 5pm on a Monday with another bowl game on at the same time.

Noon Kickoff with what was predicted to be a pretty lopsided matchup, coupled with ND-OSU and Florida-Michigan being on at the same time, was definitely the lowest profile matchup of the 3.
