starts thread with Muschamp will have Carolina losing all their games. Comments on same thread that Muschamp is not that bad of a coach. Bad Trolls are Bad.

The ole logical fallacy at play. This troll is actually more complex than the naked eye can distinguish.

So many variables here. Depends on who the QB is, and who earns the RB spot. Is there talent on D that will flourish with competent coaching, or was that poorly evaluated, too? Does Skai Moore come back, as is being reported? Combine all of those variables with the unknowns in the rest of the division (UGA, Mizzou, UF).

Here's what I want: Williams-Brice to be a very difficult place to play again. I think that's the starting point. Be formidable at home.

I think 7-5/8-4 isn't completely unreasonable.

Pretty much all of this.

Moving on now, I agree with what Muschamp said in one of his first interviews as our head coach. We need to get back to solid recruiting in-state and work outwards from there. We need to actually spend time convincing players to take a chance at South Carolina and once they get here, it's the job of the coaching staff to coach them efficiently, to bring out the best in them. Get people who have the same vision as you, to breathe new life into this program. While a lot of people only see the negatives of that, there are a lot of players out there who like the challenge and actually prefer it. There needs to be new energy here at South Carolina, and we'll just have to wait and see how serious this new coaching staff is about winning and if they're truly capable of it.

Contrary to popular belief, nobody knows for a fact if Muschamp's going to bring on something great or fall on his face yet again. It's all pointless predicting at the end of the day. You can look at previous records and say history will just repeat itself, but you also have to take into account that some coaches can learn from their past mistakes and correct where they went wrong. Right now we just have to wait and see what happens.

I don't expect a positive record out of this team this year, or even the next year, but I do want to see a team that truly wants to win, a team that has some fire in their eyes when they play, and a team that doesn't look lost, confused, and defeated on the field when the 3rd quarter rolls in. While these coaching changes have brought some uncertainty into the picture for the future of the team, it's probably one of the best things for South Carolina. Starting from scratch and building a program back up can be pretty exciting, but you just have to go about it the right way if you want to see some worthwhile results.

Yeah, I mean after the arse-whooping Clemson put on us this year (won by 5) in our worst season in 15 years ... yeah, we scared. lulz

Oh please. Clemson was up by 18 in that one with 2 minutes to go in the 3rd qtr. They let off the gas a little bit knowing that they had a championship game the following week. You were down by 12 with 5 seconds left and scored a garbage TD on the last play to help you think Clemson "barely" won. Lol

No team in the history of this series has ever let off the gas in a victory.

Thanks. I agree that it will take Mac a while to overcome the disaster that was Muschamp.

Like it took Boom awhile to overcome the disaster that was Urbie's final years at UF?

Y'all gave Boom four - we'll give him more considering what he is inheriting.

I've got a feeling Boom is going to do well here. Better than well actually.

Should make for some interesting matchups between UF and SCAR in coming seasons.

BTW - someone asked what Boom's record was vs SCAR.

Has anyone checked what Urbie's record was vs SCAR by chance?

Just sayin' ...

Harris will never throw another pass at UF.

Besides, Harris wasn't isn't the only disaster left behind.

O-line - disaster
Roster management - disaster (we had 67 scholarship athletes at the bowl game)

Lots of disasters to overcome.
