Time to face reality people. Clemson wont be able to score enough points against that defense to win. Sure they will make it close in the first half...but come second half, Bama will lean on them and pull away. Its true. Too bad their fans are obnoxious and arrogant/ignorant as frick, otherwise we might all be impressed.

If it means that Saban retires earlier, I say let 'em have it. Come on Clemson, take one for the team.

The Clempsons are known world wide as poor sports and what you said.

I just want to meet the creative mind that came up with that handle.

You must look like this. Minus the suit and tie.

Saban has done wonders and deserves as much credit as any coach in college history. Not all but some of the crazy Bama fans get on my nerves, especially the ones at Fagfans who still ban LSU fans because of a few crazies on the Internet

I very much suspect he will. Anybody who thinks that this game's gonna be a walkover will probably be surprised.
Bottomline, imo is that Alabama has been on this stage, knows how to perform there, is pissed that they didn't do it last year, AND has the athletes all over the field (and in position #s) that'll go all-out on every play to see that the outcome is different this year...again that's just my take.

I tend to believe this.

But ... then again ... Clemson came out in the second half this past weekend and shut OU down completely.

I think Clemson's got a decent shot. They will have to do well in the turnover battle...and though Bama rarely coughs up the ball ... when they actually do, they tend to do it a lot.

Will be a great game. Bama better not sleep on Clemson. A lot of talent on that team. State did not match up well against Bama.

Yep, agree, Clemson is a very good team. Very similar in all the advanced stats too. Two best teams in the country. Should be fun.

I agree. Clemson is the real deal and they have the goods on both sides of the ball.

This is going to be a good game. I'm inclined to take Clemson at +7

Not to sound obnoxious/arrogant/ignorant but very few teams match up well with Bama when they try to beat them at their own game.

That's why I think Clemson is going to be a challenge. Their style makes Bama's physical advantage less meaningful.

To me, Clemson's only real chance is to hit them early and often, then try to hold on. I think that they hang around for a half, maybe a few minutes into the 3rd quarter before Bama wears them down.
